Hi, I'm Jarrod.
Most people track their life in their head. I built a site that does it for me. Running miles, sleep, chess rating, all pulled straight from my devices while I sleep. Scroll down. It's all live.
Now
Three things get my energy right now. Updated July 2026.
At home
Priority #1, and it's not close: Lindsay and our baby boy on the way. The 2026 goal was simple: be a better husband every single day. Now I'm training for the biggest title upgrade of my life. Dad.
In training
The Burning River 50-miler is two weeks out. So the plan is simple: run every morning, bank time on feet. After the race? Less running, more lifting. The endurance guy becomes a complete athlete. That's the bet.
At work
Six months into the Finance Technology team. The job: analytics, automation, and getting a 125-year-old company to actually use AI. I also run development for our early-career analyst rotation. Teaching it is how you learn it twice.
Life Resume
A normal resume lists jobs. This one lists the good stuff.
Endurance
- 3,000+ miles run in the last 12 months
- Laced up on 334 of the last 366 days
- 16 marathons (Berlin, Chicago, and NYC in the bag), plus a 50K ultra
- Running all 50 states: 20 down, map below
Things I've built
- OpenClaw: a personal AI assistant that lives in my iMessage. Always one text away.
- This site. Every chart updates itself from my watch while I sleep.
Work
- Senior Developer, The J.M. Smucker Co.: Finance Technology team, AI strategy and deployment
- Before that, Product Management Analyst at Westfield and Farmers Insurance
- Started at Tesla, part-time while in school. That's where I caught the bug: move fast, and let technology do the heavy lifting.
Side hustles
- Run coaching: training plans for runners chasing their next PR
- AI tutoring: I show students and local businesses how to actually use this stuff
Education
- Kent State University: B.B.A., Finance
- The Ohio State University: MBA
- Self-taught AI developer. The best classroom is shipping.
Places & adventures
- Martha's Vineyard, June 2026: our baby-moon
- Sedona, December 2025: raced The Marathon Project to a 3:08 PR, then hiked red rocks all week
- Countries so far: United States, Mexico, Canada, Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary. Mapped below.
Miles, daily
Every mile below comes straight off my Garmin. No manual entry, no rounding up. Last 12 months.

Racing
The long-term project: a run in all 50 states. And I got tired of race info living on five different websites, so I built the tools I wanted.
Race Finder
- 18,000+ upcoming races, all 50 states, next 12 months
- Filter by state, month, distance, or miles from your zip
Getting In
- How to actually get into Boston, NYC, Western States, and the other races you can't just sign up for
- Every entry path, with your honest odds
Running Resume
- Every race I've run, detected automatically from Strava
- Verified against official results. It even caught races I forgot to log.
Race Results + Strava
- Official Mohican 50K results, matched to the Strava activities runners actually posted
- No more Strava stalking
